Her name was Lauren.

We didn't know each other, not yet, but we acknowledged each other.

She was in the course next door to my course and I probably spent more time trying to get her attention then bother at all with my own course. It didn't help that she actually liked it, I mean, the attention of course, but there was something else with her, she was like me, sort-of.

She was fit.

It was a shame she didn't know it.

I think what got me about her is how lonely she is, she didn't have a group of friends, no girly-girls or owt like that, she was just.... herself. By herself, I mean, completely alone. Nobody spoke to her and she didn't speak to anyone.

That was just some of the similarities we shared, we probably had more similarities, I had to find those out for myself, obviously. Long and short of it was that I'd never found someone like her before—and—I doubt I would ever again.
